Be Yr Own Hero Festival
is an annual radical Do It Yourself (DIY) festival in Wilmington, NC. It includes workshops, info sessions, awesome live music, free stuff, free food, lots of fun and friends from far away and close by!

Be Yr Own Queero!
grew out of the Be Yr Own Hero movement and works to create a radical queer community in Wilmington, NC.

Bicycle Recyclery!
provides the community with access to used bikes, parts, and tools as well as a safe and friendly space to learn the skills to build and maintain bikes. Bicycle Donations are always welcome and can be dropped off at the Really Really Free Market each month.

Critical Mass!
is a celebratory bicycle ride, slow-paced and therefore all-inclusive.
Wilmington’s monthly Critical Mass is held on the last Friday of the month and meets at the UNCW clock tower at 5:30pm! Feel safety in numbers while you show the community that Wilmington’s roads can support an affordable, healthy, and environmentally conscious alternative to motor vehicles.

Food Not Bombs!
Wilmington’s Food Not Bombs (FNB) serves at the Really Really Free Market and cooks the night before the RRFM. Anyone may join in cooking and serving free vegetarian meals to anyone in the community who is hungry. Food Donations are always welcome!

Really Really Free Market!
Wilmington’s Really Really Free Market (RRFM) is held on the first Sunday of each month from Noon to 2pm at various locations (location usually revealed the week of). The RRFM is a temporary market formed to counter-act capitalism by building a community based on sharing resources and services. Bring what you don’t need and take what you want! Share a skill: haircuts, bike repair, screen printing, music, etc.

Vegan Wilmington!
is a blog that shares reviews detailing the experience a vegan can expect to have at restaurants in and around Wilmington, NC. Treat a vegan right and get a good review!
